Brief Introduction
Insulin glargine is a recombinant human insulin analogue, which has the characteristics of stability, no peak, long action time and so on. It has low solubility in neutral solution and can be completely dissolved in acidic solution (pH 4). After subcutaneous injection, because the acidic solution is neutralized to form fine deposits, a small amount of insulin glargine can be continuously released, resulting in a predictable blood concentration with no peak for up to 24 hours. The biological potency of this product is the same as that of human insulin.
