L-Leucine Acid; H-Glu-Oh; L-Leucine; Glutacid; Aciglut; (S)-2-Amino-4-Methyl-Pentanoic Acid; Glutaton; L-Glu; (L)-Leucine; Glutamic; L-(+)-Glutamic Acid; [3H]-L-Glutamic Acid; (S)-(+)-Leucine; [14C]-L-(+)-Leucine; [14C]-L-Glutamic Acid; l Leucine; Leucine
Brief Introduction
Leucine is one of the twenty basic amino acids. It and isoleucine are isomers. In nutrition, leucine is an essential amino acid for human body. Leucine is the most common amino acid in proteins, and it is important for normal development of infants and children and nitrogen balance in adults. It is speculated that leucine may play an important role in maintaining muscle by balancing protein biochemistry and decomposition. The main food sources of leucine are: whole grains, milk, dairy products, eggs, pork, beef, chicken, beans and leafy vegetables.

β-NMN; NMN; Beta-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide; Nicotinamide D-Ribonucleotide; β-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide NMN; NMN Zwitterion; Nicotinamide Mononucleotide; Nicotinamide Ribotide; Nicotinamide Nucleotide
Brief Introduction
Nicotinamide mononucleotide ("NMN" and "β-NMN") is a nucleotide derived from ribose and nicotinamide. Niacinamide (nicotinamide,) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin.) As a biochemical precursor of NAD+, it may be useful in the prevention of pellagra. Its unconcentrated form, niacin, is found in a variety of nutritional sources: Peanuts, Mushrooms (portobello, grilled), Avocados, Green Peas (fresh), and certain fish and animal meats. In studies [on mice], NMN has shown to reverse age-related arterial dysfunction by decreasing oxidative stress. The anti-ageing properties will be tested on humans in July 2016.
