Brief Introduction
Flomoxef (inn) is a cephalosporin antibiotic, belonging to OXACEPHEM (EN). Cefuroxime has been classified as the second and fourth generation cephalosporins. Compared with other traditional cephalosporins, it also increases the efficacy against anaerobic bacteria. Its indications include severe infection caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus (except Enterococcus), pneumococcus, Peptostreptococcus, Branhamella catarhalis, gonococcus, coliform, Klebsiella, proteus, influenzae, Bacteroides and other pathogenic bacteria sensitive to the agent. Clinically, it is one of the few antibiotics that are also effective for Gram-negative bacteria of extended spectrum beta lactamase.

Brief Introduction
Cephalosporin C is an antibiotic of the cephalosporin class. It was isolated from fungi of the genus Acremonium and first characterized in 1961. Although not a very active antibiotic itself, synthetic analogs of cephalosporin C, such as cefalotin, became some of the first marketed cephalosporin antibiotic drugs.
