Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone is a member of the dihydrochalcones that is 3,2',4',6'-tetrahydroxy-4-methoxydihydrochalcone attached to a neohesperidosyl residue at position 4' via glycosidic linkage. It is found in sweet orange. It has a role as an environmental contaminant, a xenobiotic, a plant metabolite and a sweetening agent. It is a neohesperidoside, a disaccharide derivative and a member of dihydrochalcones.

Nutrition supplement, flavoring and flavoring agent. In medicine, it is used to treat peptic ulcer, alcoholism and improve brain function.

Cetic acid is also known as palmitic acid. It is white crystal at room temperature, insoluble in water, and soluble in organic solvents such as ether, chloroform, acetone, etc. Palmitic acid is one of the most widely distributed fatty acids in nature.

The dyestuff industry is used to make Yindan tulin, Disperse Red 3B, reducing grey m, etc. Printing and dyeing industry is used for vat dyeing and ice dyeing. The rubber industry is used to make 4010 antioxidant. It is used in cotton scouring and wool degreasing.
