Brief Introduction
Rosiglitazone and pioglitazone are commonly used thiazolidone two ketone hypoglycemic agents commonly used in the treatment of diabetes in China. This product is an insulin sensitizer. It can reduce the level of fasting blood glucose and insulin and C peptide by increasing the sensitivity of skeletal muscle, liver and adipose tissue to insulin and improving the utilization of glucose by cells. It can also reduce postprandial blood glucose and insulin. However, the patients are required to have a certain ability to secrete insulin. It is suitable for patients with type 2 diabetes who are still not satisfied with diet control and exercise. They can also be combined with either guanidine or sulfonylurea to treat patients with poor blood glucose control.
