Cumene hydroperoxide is a colorless to light yellow liquid with a sharp, irritating odor. Flash point 175°F. Boils at 153°C and at 100°C at the reduced pressure of 8 mm Hg. Slightly soluble in water and denser than water. Hence sinks in water. Readily soluble in alcohol, acetone, esters, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons. Toxic by inhalation and skin absorption. Used in production of acetone and phenol, as a polymerization catalyst, in redox systems.

Spiramycin is one of the macrolide antibiotics, which is produced by oxytocin. The antibacterial spectrum of spiramycin is similar to that of erythromycin. Its antibacterial activity in vitro is weaker than erythromycin, but its clinical effect is better than erythromycin. Spiramycin still has good antibacterial activity against erythromycin and penicillin resistant strains such as Staphylococcus aureus. It is easily absorbed by oral administration and has low toxicity. It can be used to treat various infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Neisseria meningitidis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Escherichia coli. This product is suitable for the treatment of ear, nose, throat and respiratory tract infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria and some gram negative bacteria, such as acute bronchitis, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, scarlet fever, tonsillitis, otitis media, periodontitis and acute sinusitis. This product can also be used for the treatment of non gonococcal urethritis.
