Potassium persulfate is mainly used as an initiator and strong oxidant initiator:
Potassium persulfate is an initiator for latex or acrylic monomer polymerization solution, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride and other products, and also an initiator for the copolymerization of colloids such as styrene, acrylonitrile, and butadiene.
Strong oxidant:
(1) Used as a desizing agent and a bleaching activator.
(2) Used for oxidative degradation of harmful substances in water tanks and closed loop treatment.
(3) It is a regulator for the production of starch and is applied in the production of adhesives and coatings.
(4) Used for branched chain oxidation, ethanol and aromatic hydroxyl oxidation.
(5) It is one of the basic components of hair dyes and has a decolorization effect.
