Dibromonickel; Nickel Bromide; Nickel-Bromid; Nickel(Ii)-Bromid; Dibromonickel(Ii); Nickeleus Bromide; Nickel(Ii) Dibromide
Brief Introduction
Nickel(II) bromide is the nickel salt of hydrobromic acid. It can be made by reacting nickel, nickel(II) oxide, nickel(II) carbonate, or nickel(II) hydroxide with hydrobromic acid. It can also be made by reacting nickel with bromine. It is a weak reducing agent. It is yellow-brown, rhombohedral, hygroscopic, and is soluble in water and in ethanol. It dissolves in water to make a blue-green solution typical of soluble nickel(II) compounds. It can be used as a source of the bromide ion. It reacts with bases to make nickel(II) hydroxide. Nickel(II) bromide, like most nickel compounds, is toxic and a suspected carcinogen. It can cause contact dermatitis in skin. The bromide ion is also mildly toxic. Nickel(II) bromide is mainly used in pharmaceutical industry as a metal catalyst.

It can be used in cans, fruit juice drinks, dairy products, soybean milk, etc. It is used as soft water agent, boiler descaling agent and metal ion chelating agent. Dispersant, auxiliaries in printing, dyeing and fine bleaching. Additives for synthetic detergents. A regulator of oil well mud. Used as complexing agent for copper in electroplating solution.
CAS:13473-90-0
Molecular Formula:AlN3O9
Aluminiumtrinitrate; Aluminum Trinitrate; Al(No3)3; Nitrato De Aluminio; Aluminum Nitrate Solution; Nitric Acid,Alumium Salt; Aluminium Nitrate
Brief Introduction
Aluminum nitrate appears as a white, crystalline solid. Noncombustible but can accelerate the burning of combustible materials. If large quantities are involved or the combustible material is finely divided, an explosion may result. Prolonged exposure to fire or heat may result in an explosion. Fires that involve this material, produce oxides of nitrogen. Uses include, petroleum refining, dyeing, and leather tanning.
