Avobenzone (trade name: parsol 1789, eusolex 9020, escalol 517, etc.). Inci Name: butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane is the name of usan. It is a fat soluble component used in sunscreen products and can absorb UVA in all bands (about 315 to 400 nm). It is a derivative of dibenzoylmethane (DBM). Among them, avobenzone has the highest UVA absorption at the wavelength of 357 nm. Compared with other chemical sunscreen agents, it can absorb a wide range of ultraviolet light, so it is widely used in many advertised broad-spectrum sunscreen products.
