                            Myricetin is a natural flavonol that is a flavonoid compound found in many fruits, vegetables, berries, and medicinal plants. Yangmei flavonoids are one of the phenolic compounds in red wine. Yangmei flavonoids have antioxidant properties. In vitro studies have shown that high concentrations of myricetin can reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. A study in Finland found that people with high intake of myricetin have a lower incidence of prostate cancer.
