Trinexapac-Ethyl is a cyclohexane carboxylic acid plant growth regulator. It can control the vigorous growth of crops, reduce plant height, increase stem diameter and stem wall thickness, promote the increase of root length and secondary rooting by reducing the content of gibberellin. Use after bud to prevent lodging; Leaf application could slow down the elongation of branches and internodes.

Compound nitrophenol sodium refers to a plant growth regulator composed of three components (ortho nitrophenol sodium, para nitrophenol sodium, and 5-nitro-o-methoxyphenol sodium). It was successfully developed by Asahi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in 1952, with the trade names Ai Duo Shou, Ai Feng Shou Atonik。 Sodium nitrophenol has low toxicity to higher animals. Nitrophenol sodium is a plant cell activator for mononitrifying guaiacol sodium salt. It can quickly penetrate into the plant body, promote the flow of cell cytoplasm, accelerate the rooting speed of plants, and have different promoting effects on reproduction and fruiting. Especially helpful for pollen tube elongation and fertilization. It can promote plant growth and development, early flowering, break dormancy, promote germination, prevent flower and fruit drop, and improve quality. Sodium nitrophenolate is different from plant hormones and can be used between plant sowing and harvesting.
