Crotonamide can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis. Carboxylic amides are important compounds such as various chemical products represented by medical pesticide pathogens and electronic materials and their synthetic intermediates. The following methods have been documented: in the presence of sodium methoxide as a metal alkoxide, the method of reacting 4,5-bis (4-methoxyphenyl) - 1,3-oxazol-2-carboxylic acid ethyl ester as a carboxylic acid ester with formamide to obtain a carboxylic acid amide called 4,5-bis (4-methoxyphenyl) - 1,3-oxazol-2-formamide with a yield of 71.9%.
