N,N-Diethylethylenediamine is a colorless liquid, which is miscible with water, ethanol, ether and other organic solvents. N,N-Diethylethylenediamine is used as the intermediate of fine chemicals to produce antiarrhythmic drug procainamide, local anesthetic dibucaine hydrochloride and enzymic inhibine. It is also used to produce auxiliary products, such as preparation of sapamine BCH.
