Product introduction: diatomite filtration is an efficient fine filtration process, which can filter out good water quality, small floor area and remove bacteria and algae. The important use of diatomite is as filter aid. Diatomite powder products can filter out solid particles, suspended substances, colloidal particles and bacteria in the liquid, and play the role of filtering and purifying the liquid. Filter aids are mainly used in beer, medicine, water purification and filtration, oil industry, organic solutions, coatings, dyes, condiments, sugars, wines, etc. It has good microporous structure, adsorption performance and compression resistance to ensure clarity.
Diatomite filtration technology: three steps (precoating, filtration and backwashing)
1. Precoating is to mix certain diatomite and water into slurry until diatomite particles "bridge" to form a uniform diatomite filter material cake layer on the surface of the filter element. It prevents unnecessary cleaning and replacement of the filter diaphragm due to the blockage of solids in the liquid. 2. Filtration is to purify the water quality when the water passes through diatomite pre coating. In order to reduce the influence of impurities blocking the precoating, another part of diatomite is added to the water to be filtered. This part of diatomite is called filter aid. 3. Backwashing is the process of stopping filtration and cleaning the filter membrane after diatomite operation to a certain extent.
Mechanism of diatomite in beer filtration: three steps (screening, retention and adsorption)
1. Screening: when the fluid flows through diatomite, the pore is smaller than the particle size of impurity particles, so that the impurity particles cannot pass through and be intercepted. When the diameter of solid particles is not smaller than the pore diameter of diatomite, the solid particles will be "screened" from the suspension to play the role of surface filtration. 2. Depth effect: the retention effect of deep filtration. During deep filtration, the separation process only occurs in the "interior" of the medium. Some small impurity particles passing through the surface of the filter cake are blocked, intercepted and screened by the tortuous microporous channels in diatomite and the finer pores in the filter cake. 3. Adsorption: when particles smaller than the internal pores of diatomite collide with the internal surface of porous diatomite, they form mutually attractive chains and adhere to diatomite.

Storage conditions
During storage, the products shall be protected from rain, moisture, sun and corrosion. When stacking, the products shall not directly contact the ground. They shall be stacked on pallets or moisture-proof felt plates, and the stacking layer height shall not exceed 30 layers.
