Colorless and transparent liquid without mechanical impurities. It has a pungent smell and is easy to deliquescence.

Product performance:

Methyltrichlorosilane is a colorless or light yellow transparent liquid. It emits smoke in humid air and dissolves in phenyl ether. In case of open fire, high heat or contact with oxidant, it may cause combustion and explosion. It decomposes and releases heat when heated or in contact with water, releasing toxic and corrosive hydrogen chloride gas, which is corrosive.

Main purpose:

Methyltrichlorosilane is the basic raw material of silicone products. It is mainly used to produce methyltriethoxysilane, methyltrimethoxysilane and other crosslinking agents, silicone resin, special coatings, building waterproof agent and gas-phase white carbon black.

Packing:

Packaging, storage and transportation shall be packed in 200L iron drums.

Transportation and storage:

This product should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place, avoid contact with acid, alkali, alcohol and water, and pay attention to waterproof, fireproof and heat protection. This product shall be stored and transported as dangerous goods without rain and sunshine during transportation.
