Benzimidazole is a broad-spectrum, highly effective and low toxic benzimidazole insecticide. It has a strong affinity with tubulin in structure. It can prevent the polymerization of microtubules by affecting cell transport and energy metabolism, and ultimately destroy the integrity and energy transmission function of insect cells. Benzathimidazole is used to drive and kill gastrointestinal parasites in animals. It not only has high repellent activity against Ascaris lumbricoides, hookworm, Trichuris Trichuris, some Taenia solium and strongylonema, but also has good curative effect on some bronchial tree and lung parasites (Pneumocystis felis and Paragonimus).
