Acrylic anhydride is a strong esterification agent that is necessary for the preparation of thioacrylate, acrylamide, and methacrylate (especially tert alcohol esters). It can also be used as a crosslinking agent in polymerization reactions for the synthesis of materials such as photocurable coatings and cross-linked resins, and as a raw material for the synthesis of special fine chemicals, with broad market application prospects.
