DESCRIPTION

Industrial boric acid

Nature: White crystalline powder, with smooth hand feeling and without stink, soluble in water, ethyl alcohol, glycerinum, ether and essential oil. Its water solution is faintly acid.

Use: Boric acid is largely used in glass industry. Particularly, the alkali-free glass fiber cannot be produced without borax. It can be used to improving gloss and fastness of products in enamel and ceramic industries; can be used for medicine and wood preservation; can be used as bactericide, pesticide and micro-element fertilizer etc. Boric is the mother material for production of boronizing, and is widely applied in metal welding, leather, gem, electronic engineering, national defense and scientific research.
