Property: hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine is a colorless viscous liquid with boiling point of 243.7 ℃ (0.098mpa), 103.7 ℃ (0.001 MPa), relative density of 1.034 (20 / 20) and refractive index of 1.4863; Soluble in water and alcohol, slightly soluble in ether; It is highly hygroscopic, strongly alkaline, can absorb carbon dioxide in the air, and has a slight ammonia smell.

Main purpose:

It is used for cosmetics (shampoo), lubricating oil additives, resin raw materials, surfactants, etc. it can be used as raw materials for the production of textile additives (such as film).

1. Surfactant: it can be used as raw material of imidazole ionic surfactant and amphoteric surfactant.

2. Detergent additive: it can prevent browning of copper nickel alloy.

3. Lubricant additive: it can be added to lubricating oil in the form of this product or polymer with methacrylic acid. It can also be used as preservative, sludge dispersant, etc.

4. Raw materials of hybrid resin: it can be used as various resin raw materials for water dispersible latex coating, paper, sizing agent, etc.

5. Epoxy resin curing agent.

6. Raw material for producing textile auxiliaries: an important raw material for producing film.

Typical Properties

It is used in the production of dyes, resins, rubber, flotation agents, pesticides and surfactants. The prepared corrosion inhibitor 1017 is used in petrochemical production. This product is an excellent low toxicity room temperature curing agent of epoxy resin, which is obviously better than ethylenediamine. It is widely used for bonding various metal and non-metal parts, preparing anti-corrosion epoxy coatings, casting cable joints and other mechanical and electrical parts.
