Source:

It is the needles of Siberian Korean pine, black pine, Chinese pine, Korean pine, Huashan pine, Yunnan pine, Simao Pine and Masson pine.

Preparation method:

It is obtained from the fresh twigs and needles of Pinaceae pine by steam distillation.

Unstable to acid and alkali. Soluble in most non-volatile oils, almost insoluble in glycerol and slightly soluble in water. Soluble in mineral oil and propylene glycol, but milky white or turbid.

Quality standard:

Density: 0.853 ~ 0.885

Refractive index: 1.474 ~ 1.480

Optical rotation: - 5 ° ~ - 15 °

Heavy metals (calculated by Pb): negative

Solubility in alcohol (OT-43): 1mg sample can be dissolved in 10ml 90% ethanol, and turbidity often occurs.
