Application: cefuroxime axetil is an esterified derivative of cefuroxime. It is a precursor drug. After oral administration, cefuroxime axetil is hydrolyzed by non-specific esterase to release cefuroxime. Therefore, its antibacterial spectrum and activity are similar to cefuroxime, but its absorption in vivo is improved. It has antibacterial effect on many kinds of Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and anaerobic bacteria. Clinically, it is mainly used for respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, gonococcal infection, skin and soft tissue infection caused by sensitive bacteria.

Appearance: white to off white powder.
