Description: colorless clear liquid with aromatic smell.
Features: flammable and irritating. Its vapor and air can form an explosive mixture. There is a risk of combustion and explosion in case of open fire and high temperature. Its vapor is heavier than air and can diffuse to a considerable distance at a lower place. It will catch fire and burn back in case of fire source. In case of high heat, the internal pressure of the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
Application: mainly used as solvent or diluent for nitro paint and varnish, and also as solvent for dyes and oils.
