Properties

Metsulfuron methyl is a highly effective sulfonylurea herbicide in wheat field with internal absorption and conduction selectivity, and its activity is three times higher than that of Chlorsulfuron methyl. The mechanism of mesulon is similar to chlorsulfonyl, which is absorbed rapidly through the roots and leaves of plants. It can rapidly transmit in vivo and inhibit the activity of acetyl lactate synthase, resulting in the inhibition of valine and isoleucine biosynthesis, resulting in inhibition of growth and death. It is suitable for all kinds of soil, and it can be used for soil treatment before seedling or spray of stem and leaf after seedling.
