Structure：
Physicochemical properties: colorless liquid with alcohol taste. The solubility of water at 20 ℃ is 7.7% (by weight), and the solubility of water in n-butanol is 20.1% (by weight). It is miscible with ethanol, ether and other organic solvents.
Product application: it is mainly used to manufacture n-butyl ester plasticizers of phthalic acid, aliphatic dibasic acid and phosphoric acid. They are widely used in various plastic and rubber products. It is also the raw material of butyraldehyde, butyric acid, butylamine and butyl lactate in organic synthesis. It is also the extractant of oils, drugs (such as antibiotics, hormones and vitamins) and spices, and the additive of alkyd resin coatings. It can also be used as solvent and dewaxing agent for organic dyes and printing inks.
