Soda Plant of Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd., founded in 1983, is one of the main branches of the listed company Shandong Haihua Co., Ltd. The predecessor of the enterprise is Shandong Weifang soda plant, with a design capacity of 600000 tons of soda ash per year. It is a national key construction project during the Seventh Five Year Plan period, which was completed and put into operation in 1989. Relying on its unique geographical location, convenient transportation conditions and rich mineral resources, the soda plant has more than 1600 on-the-job employees and two new and old production lines after years of development. The annual production capacity reaches 3million tons, accounting for one tenth of the total national production capacity, ranking first among domestic synthetic alkali production enterprises.
