Uses
Pharmaceutical intermediate: 3-Methyl-1-Phenyl-5-Pyrazolone(PMP) is mainly used to synthesize pyrazolone antipyretic and analgesic drugs such as metamizole, antipyrine, aminopyrine, and edaravone.
Dye intermediate: 3-Methyl-1-Phenyl-5-Pyrazolone(PMP) is used to synthesize pyrazolone acid dyes such as acid mordant red BN and eternal yellow G; For compositing Acid yellow 11, mordant Orange 3, mordant red 94, acid orange 63, direct orange 30, etc.
