Uses
Tetrachlorophthalic anhydride (TCPA) is commonly used as a reagent and intermediate in industry. Tetrachlorophthalic anhydride can be used as an esterification agent, acylation agent, acylation reagent, etc. in certain chemical synthesis reactions.
Tetrachlorophthalic anhydride (TCPA) can be used for organic synthesis in polyester, epoxy resin, alkyd resin, plasticizers, pesticides (FTHALIDE), dyes (phthalocyanine green pigments), pharmaceuticals, fireproof coatings, electroplating, and other electronic industries.
