Uses
Polyphosphoric acid is widely used in medicine, perfume, leather, the chemical industry and other industries.
Polyphosphoric acid is used as a dehydrating agent, cyclizing agent, acylating agent, catalyst, or solvent for condensation, cyclization, rearrangement, substitution and other reactions in organic synthesis.
Polyphosphoric acid is also used as a substitute for orthophosphoric acid and as an analytical reagent.
Polyphosphoric acid is mainly used to make lithium hexafluorophosphate electrolytes.
Polyphosphoric acid can be used in the production of carbon fibers, inorganic flame retardants and many other fine chemical fields.
