Uses

Hair dye, perm related cosmetics, and the production of spandex are its biggest uses.

Dyestuff Intermediates:P-phenylenediamine is an extremely important dye intermediate, mainly used in aramid, azo dyes, sulfur dyes, acid dyes, etc. It is mainly used for fur dyeing, and can also be combined with other dyes, used as a mordant to produce fur Black D, fur blue black DB, fur Brown N2, and Ursi D, etc.

Rubber additives - rubber antioxidant: P-phenylenediamine is the antioxidant with the largest consumption in the rubber industry. It can be used to produce rubber antioxidant DNP, 288, DOP, DBP, etc.
