Overview
Benefits
N-heptane 99%min, High purity grade is a key solvent in Pharmaceutical and Coating Industries. It is mainly used for the preparation of anesthetics, solvents, raw materials for organic synthesis and experimental reagents.
Our n-Heptane is made by hydrogenation method to gurantee product free of benzene nor toluene which is forbidden in Pharmaceutical Industry, meanwhile, Sulphur is removed, which make our material is suitable for Pharmaceutical, Food, Resin & Coating Industries.
Process same as SK Korea, it is not aborbtion process like other Chinese suppliers using.

Uses
N-heptane is used as an analytical reagent and solvent. Heptano is mainly used as a standard substance for determining octane number, gasoline engine knock test standard, reference substance for chromatographic analysis, biochemical research, protein sequence analysis, determination of ozone and triglyceride, pesticide residue analysis and fluorescence analysis.
N-heptane can stimulate the respiratory tract and has an anesthetic effect at high concentrations. N-heptane can be used as an anesthetic.
N-heptane is also used as raw material for organic synthesis to produce cement; In industry, n-heptane is used to make various types of inks, including printer ink and printing ink.
N-heptane is used to extract oil from plant flowers, seeds, leaves and stems as a cheaper and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional machine pressing. Due to the low level of residual solvent, if properly recovered, it is becoming more and more popular in the plant extraction industry. In addition, n-heptane plays an important role in the separation and synthesis of cannabinoids.
