Uses
Ethyl methacrylate (EMA) is a commonly used monomer for polymerization. Through polymerization reaction, EMA can copolymerize with other monomers to form copolymers with different properties, which have a wide range of applications in adhesives, coatings, fiber treatment agents, printing inks, molding materials, organic glass, synthetic resins, and other fields.
Plastic products: Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA) can copolymerize with other monomers to form polymers with good mechanical properties, transparency, and chemical resistance, and is therefore commonly used to manufacture plastic containers, bottle caps, toys, and other products.
Acrylic resin: Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA) can be used to manufacture acrylic ester elastomers (ACM), which have high elasticity, heat resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, and other characteristics, and are widely used in automobile manufacturing, building materials, and other fields.
Adhesives and pressure-sensitive adhesives: Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA) can be used to improve the adhesion performance, viscosity, and drying speed of the products, thereby improving their usability.
Medical materials: Ethyl Methacrylate (EMA) can be used to prepare medical materials such as artificial corneas, artificial joints, and dental filling materials, which have good biocompatibility and biodegradability, and are harmless to the human body.
